There is no standee for EXPO Exclusive Legendary Cryptid
This is a collectactable promo card. It does not come with a hexagon token. Instead, it is suggested to use one of the plastic base standees to support the card itself on the map.
Do you have to pay for the crew card ability before the skill check or is it possible to use it after you've rolled?
You have to commit (and pay for it) before the actual roll.
If I return to HQ via an event card, do I collect income and deposit caged Cryptids?
If an event card triggers a return to HQ action while you are not the active player, you follow all the steps minus collecting end of turn income and shopping.
Do I still generate income on a turn where I am in HQ?
You always generate income at the end of your turn, no matter the location. However, you only transfer it to the wallet if you have specifically done the return to HQ action.
If you end your turn at HQ anyway it makes sense to do the return to HQ action in order to heal up and transfer your income to the wallet.
What does the Bigfoot image and the single Claw image mean on the die?

What does the colour of the aether coins mean?
Blue = 1 Aether Coin
Red = 3 Aether Coins
Gold = 5 Aether Coins
The Seer Crew Card says new hand limit is 8 but I cannot find anything in the rules that states there is a hand limit.
Your hand limit is 4 cryptid cards. So with the Seer Crew Card you can pay 1 Aether Coin per round and draw 2 additional Cryptid Cards. But you can't have more than 8 Cryptid Cards in your hand.
